Effective change management techniques are essential for preserving organizational flexibility and competitiveness in the fast-paced commercial world of today. With a focus on the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) in the cities of Ambo and Guder, this study sought to investigate how change management affects organizational performance. The study examines the connection between change management techniques and important performance indicators, examining the ways in which organizational culture, employee engagement, leadership style, and structural modifications all enhance performance. Structured questionnaires were used to gather data from 187 employees at six CBE branches using a mixed-methods approach that combined descriptive and explanatory study techniques. The statistical models such as multiple linear regression analysis and correlation were performed using SPSS version 25. The findings show that organizational performance, especially in the areas of leadership, employee engagement, and structured change processes, is strongly positively correlated with effective change management strategies. Increased market share, innovation, and customer happiness have also been found to be significantly influenced by organizational culture and technological adaption. According to the study's findings, successful change management requires both strong leadership and engaged employees, both of which enhance organizational results. It is recommended that CBE keep funding initiatives for employee engagement and leadership development while cultivating an innovative and flexible culture. CBE may continue to grow and keep its competitive edge by coordinating these tactics with organizational objectives |
