Enterprise resource planning implementations are critical for organizational efficiency and digital transformation for one of the leading public enterprises, like Ethio telecom. In line with this, the general objective of this study was to identify the Success factors of enterprise resource planning and implementation success in Ethio telecom in Ambo town. A multi-stage sampling technique was employed to gather data from a total of 177 respondents. The data was analyzed using Excel and STATA software version 15.0. Both descriptive statistics and econometric models, such as multiple linear regressions, were employed. The result of multiple linear regressions shows that, out of seven independent variables expected to affect enterprise resource planning and implementation success, five of them are affected positively and significantly. Among these variables, teamwork and composition, education and training, effective project management, and vendor support affected enterprise resource planning and implementation success positively and significantly at the 1% level of significance. Business process reengineering affected enterprise resource planning and implementation success positively and significantly at the 5% level of significance. Based on these findings, Ethio Telecom is advised to strengthen collaborative teamwork structures, provide continuous and targeted staff training, and prioritize robust project management practices. Furthermore, enhancing partnerships with competent vendors will be essential for sustaining and improving the success of its ERP implementation efforts |
