dc.description.abstract This study investigated the Role of TVET Colleges in Promoting Entrepreneurship: The Case of Burayu TVET Colleges," focused on the significant contributions of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges in fostering entrepreneurship within local communities, with a specific focus on Burayu TVET College in Ethiopia. The study began by explaining the essential role that TVET institutions played in equipping individuals with practical skills necessary for thriving in a rapidly evolving economic landscape. The research employed a descriptive research approach using a mixed-methods framework to assess the impact of the college’s entrepreneurial initiatives on student outcomes and community development. Key initiatives and programs implemented by Burayu TVET College to nurture entrepreneurial mindsets and skills among students were highlighted, demonstrating how these efforts helped bridge the gap between education and the labor market. Findings revealed that, despite existing challenges such as limited resources and inadequate industry collaboration, Burayu TVET College actively promoted entrepreneurship through various strategies, including mentorship programs, practical training, and partnerships with local businesses. The study identified specific challenges faced by the college in its mission to foster an entrepreneurial culture, providing valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders in the field of TVET. Ultimately, the study underscored the importance of reforming and enhancing TVET curricula to effectively integrate entrepreneurship education, advocating for a holistic approach that addressed both individual and community needs. By filling gaps in existing literature and providing a detailed case study of Burayu TVET College, this research offered critical recommendations for improving entrepreneurial education, thereby empowering future generations and contributing to sustainable economic development in Ethiopia. en_US
