The main purpose of the study was to Assessment of Factors Affecting Employees’ Job Satisfaction in Holeta Agricultural Research Center. The study used an explanatory research design and quantitative and qualitative research approaches. Data was collected from 218 employees using questionnaire designed based on Likert rating scale and descriptive statistics tools used to analyze the collected data. The researcher used questionnaires, and documentary reviews for data collection. In addition to this, descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics such as multiple regression and Pearson correlation were used to analyze the data. According to the study's conclusions, all the variables under study have a significant positive impact on employee job satisfaction. As we understand from the analysis, the largest significant factor Holeta Agricultural Research Center is communication, which is followed by promotion. Payment and benefit packages contribute less to job satisfaction in the Holeta Agricultural Research Center. Employees are less satisfied with the Holeta Agricultural Research Center compensation as it is not competitive as compared with similar institutions pay and compensation is not adequate enough for employees to meet their cost of living. Moreover, all factors’ dimensions have significant and positive effect on employees’ job satisfaction. Holeta Agricultural Research Center is recommended to improve the current payment and compensation packages in order to enhance employee’s job satisfaction |
