dc.description.abstract Globally, delay in construction projects is one of the most common, costly, complex and risky problems encountered in construction projects success. This study was conducted with the main objective of identify the factors affecting project success in building construction in Holeta town, West Shoa Zone, Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia. The researcher has been applied Project performance success as dependent variable and; management process factors, project fund, project control, External integration factors and Internal integration factors as independent variables. The study was conducted at construction building in Holeta town, West Shoa Zone, Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia, purposively sampling technique. Using proportional random sampling technique, 250 samples are drawn from 662 total populations. (Project performance success). By taking the research objectives and questions into considerations, as the research approach is quantitative and quantitative research as well as Descriptive and explanatory research design used for in this study. Quantitative of this research method was used through survey questionnaires which were constructed in 5-point Likert scales and distributed obtain primary data from managers/supportive staff, office Engineer, and others employees Holeta Town. The qualitative research method would be used through document review and semi structured interview. Data collected through, unstructured questionaries’ and analyzed data using SPSS version 20. Then, LRM regressions model was applied after the data sets were transformed to natural log form. The finding of the study shows that that management process factors, project fund, project control, External integration factors and Internal integration factors the independent variables have a strong positive relationship with project performance success. Based on the finding the study recommended that the Holeta town has to give more emphasis to project control to perform the construction building at a given time, appropriate quality and balanced cost. In this context several researchers have been conducted the factors affecting project success building construction in different study. Therefore, the researcher motive is fill this gab by the factors affecting the project success building construction specifically extent to management process, internal factor and external factors that effect of the project success building to measure in (time, cost and quality) a case study of Holeta building construction projects in Ethiopia en_US
