administer using structured questionnaire. The data was cleaned, coded and entered to EpiData
(Ver.3.1), and analyzed by using. SPSS (Ver.26) computer based statistical package for both
Descriptive and analytical statistics were done and displayed by using text, frequencies tables, and
figures. Binary logistic regression model was used for inferential statistics or to see the association
between dependent and independent variables. P-values of <0.25 were used on bi-variable logistic
regression analysis to select the candidate variables for the final model. Odds ratio with 95%
confidence intervals were computed to see the strength of associations. Finally, p-value<0.05 on
multivariable logistic regression analysis were used as cut off point to declare statistically significant
variables.
Result: From a total of three hundred seventy four respondents 359 participants gave responses and

odd ratio of [AOR: 7.57 (95% CI: 4.19-13.68)], respondents who have a desire to have more than 5
children in the future reproductive life with adjusted odd ratio of [(AOR: 0.30 (95% CI: 0.19-0.46)].
Decision making by both partners with adjusted odd ratio of [AOR: 6.37, (95% CI: 3.54-11.47)] and
