The purpose of this study was to find out effect of reward system on employee performance in case of office in Woliso town administration. Based on the literature, five independent variables—salary, promotion, appreciation, working environment, and learning opportunity—were chosen as predictors of employee performance in Woliso town administration. The study used an explanatory research design and quantitative and qualitative research approaches. The researcher used questionnaires, interviews, and documentary reviews for data collection. In addition to this, descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics such as multiple regression and Pearson correlation were used to analyze the data. According to the study's conclusions, all the variables under study have a significant positive effect on employee performance. As we understand from the analysis, Woliso town administration offices currently use learning opportunities as a reward system, which is followed by promotion. The largest non-financial reward used by organizations is learning opportunity, which is followed by appreciation. According to the findings of the research, the workers are not satisfied with the currently used non-financial rewards. The majority of respondents indicated that the current reward system of the Woliso town administration offices does not stimulate them to work hard. Therefore, the researcher recommended that the concerned body improve the existing reward system (salary, promotion, appreciation, working environment, and learning opportunity) and add another reward system to the existing one |
