The primary purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of planned
strength endurance training on the improvement of aerobic fitness of female
long distance athletes;- the case of Akaki kality Athletics project. The study
was employed in Experimental research method. The study would conduct to
improve aerobic fitness performances on 10 female athletes of long distance, 1
coach, of akaki kality athletics project. These five female athletes will assign
as experimental group and their ages are under 17 years. All subjects
participate in planned strength endurance training for 8 weeks i.e., three days
per week and 40 minutes duration per day. Pre-test, during training test and
post training test would conduct on physical fitness variables such as step test
vo2 max and 12 minutes run. The census sampling technique will employed to
select the kind of event. The data would collect from subjects are analyzed by
paired sample t-test to determine the differences between pre-test and post-test
mean value results of the participants of the study was shown that decreased
on the resting heart rate and increased on exercise heart rate of the
participants after 8 weeks exercises. The result showed that significant
improvement in the performance of participants‟ had aerobic fitness. the
finding of this study showed that, there were improvements on physical fitness
performance of the participants after 8 weeks exercises of 12 minutes run.
There was the decrement that had on the heart beats of the subjects after 8
weeks exercise program on aerobic fitness, when we compared the heart beats
of pre and post test of the subjects. Responsible bodies like government office
have to collaborate with Woreda Sport Commission Office for this project |
