Effects Of E-Governance On Improving Service Delivery In Public Organizations (The Case Of Ambo Town Municipality

Abstract

E-governance plays a crucial role in modernizing goverance operations, enhancing citizen participation, and promoting transparency and accountability in governance, making it a relevant and important aspect of contemporary governance practices. Hence, the main Purpose of this study is to determine the Effects of E-Governance on Improving Service Delivery in Public Organizations (The Case of Ambo Town Municipality)”. To end this objective the study used an explanatory research design and the collected data was both primary and secondary data. Data for this study was gathered from 85 respondents as a sample size and the main sources of data for this survey were primary data and secondary data, which were collected by using survey questionnaires. This information was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. According to the findings of this study, the independent variables had a substantial influence on the dependent variables. Hence, the findings suggest that E-Governance has had a positive impact on Improving Service Delivery in Public Organizations (The Case of Ambo Town Municipality). The implementation of E-governance initiatives in public organizations has the potential to streamline processes, reduce bureaucracy, and increase transparency and accountability. In the context of Ambo town municipality, this research aims to assess the impact of e-governance on service delivery outcomes such as accessibility, responsiveness, and citizen satisfaction. By analyzing the current E-governance infrastructure, and practices in the municipality, this study seeks to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the existing system and propose recommendations for improvement. Overall, Recommendations for further research and practical implications for organizations looking to enhance E-Governance practices are discussed.
