To conclude the result indicates that there is somehow lack of transparency during promotion and salary increment in the selected secondary school. This leads to major causes of conflict in the secondary schools. The result indicates that there is communication gap between employee and principal in the selected secondary school. Communication gap is taken as the major source of conflict. This leads to major causes of conflict in the secondary schools. As a last remark, since school culture is dynamic which is built by people with different family backgrounds, learning experiences and seeing & managing things from their point of view regardless of others, members of school community should accept the inevitability of conflict that could not be avoided at all. Despite these gaps, principals encountered with frequent disputes and handled it according to their personal feelings and skills. Therefore, it is recommended that discussions should be organized for members of school community on communication aspects, diversity management and conflict resolution strategies by Education Office. en_US
