Abstract:
The general objective of the study was the effect of company strategy on operational
performance in Habesha cement S.C. The study was guided by Resource based view theory and
Transient proposal theory. The study employed descriptive and inferential survey research design.
Primary data was collected by use of structured questionnaires that were distributed to the Top
management and Senior Employees. Out of 52 questionnaires that were distributed to the
respondents, 46 data sets were returned and were all used for data analysis. The data was
analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression, with the help of SPSS version 25
Software as an analytical technique. Study results indicate that there is a significant relationship
between strategy implementation and operational performance of the cement company. The
study therefore concludes that strategy implementation has a greater effect on operational
performance in Habesha cement S.C. recommended that: Managers should use JIT strategies in
order to solve operational performance.
