dc.description.abstract Background: Globally various countries are attempting to provide financial insurance for all individuals from the costs of accessing health services. Every year, 150 million people are affected by financial disasters; 100 million are killed; and a million people are being pushed into poverty because of direct payments for health services. Community-based health insurance schemes are a risk-pooling method that aims to share health expenditures among households with varying health status. Objective: To assess satisfaction with Community Based Health Insurance and Associated Factors among households enrolled in CBHI Bacho District, Southwest Shewa Zone, Oromia, Ethiopia. Methods: Community-based cross-sectional quantitative study design supplemented with qualitative method was conducted in Bacho District from December1- 30/2021.A multi-stage simple random samplings was used to select 600 households. Data were collected by using a structured questionnaire and the collected data were entered into EpI Info Version 7.2.3.1 and exported to SPSS version 20.0 for analysis. Both Bi-variable and multivariable binary logistic regression analyses were done. To identify factors associated with household’s satisfaction with CBHI. AOR along with 95 % confidence intervals were estimated to measure the strength of the association between independent and outcome variables. The level of statistical significance was declared at P -values < 0.05. The results were presented using text, table and graph. Results: A total of 600 participants in a response rate of 100%. The level of household satisfaction on CBHI in Bacho District was 48.7% (95%CI: 44.5% 52.5%). Explanation the use of medicine, (AOR=10.04,(95%CI :( 4.32,23.35)) Respect given from service providers (AOR=4.83, (95%CI:1.27,18.41)), amount of paying premium annually (AOR=9.99,(95%CI:3.67,27.19)),CBHI packages,(AOR=3.25,(95%CI:1.02,10.41),Service at reception (AOR=3.58,(95%CI:1.27,10.04)),information provided about Community based health insurance (AOR=3.88 (95%CI:1.19,12.65)), season of premium payment (AOR=3.68 (95%CI:1.32,10.28) and ID cared distribution(AOR=0.32,(95%CI:.09,1.15)) were significantly associated with household satisfaction on CBHI. Conclusion: The level of household satisfaction to CBHI was neutral. Explanation the use of medicine, Respect given from service providers, amount of paying premium annually, CBHI packages, service at reception, information provided about CBHI, season of premium payment and ID cared distribution were found to be predictor of variables of CBHI. Thus, Bacho district health office, health care providers and Zonal health office should give attention for the services provided to households en_US
