Abstract:

the costs of accessing health services. Every year, 150 million people are affected by financial disasters; 100
million are killed; and a million people are being pushed into poverty because of direct payments for health
services. Community-based health insurance schemes are a risk-pooling method that aims to share health
expenditures among households with varying health status.

multivariable binary logistic regression analyses were done. To identify factors associated with household’s
satisfaction with CBHI. AOR along with 95 % confidence intervals were estimated to measure the strength of
the association between independent and outcome variables. The level of statistical significance was declared
at P -values < 0.05. The results were presented using text, table and graph.
