Factors Affecting Projecte Implementation Delay: In The Case Of Municipality City Of Ambo

Abstract

A project delay refers to an unexpected situation that causes a failure in the project's planned schedule. This means that tasks and major milestones are not completed within the set timeframe, causing the overall project schedule to be extended beyond what was originally planned. AS a study on project implementation delays in Ambo City Municipality, this dissertation study examines the factors that influence project implementation delays in Ambo City Municipality. Data collection methods were used in the municipality of Ambo with qualitative and quantitative data and the number of employees of Ambo City Municipality was also conducted. Census method is selected 113 respondents. Data analysis method is descriptive and multiple regression analysis models are used to investigate and test the research question: The research paper aims to study the main objectives of the study which are to study the external factors, internal factors and their impact on the community of Ambo city. (Wurku and Jaha, 2016) also studied social and environmental impacts, internal problems (impacts) and external impacts. However, in this study, the results of this study did not include any projects built by the Ambo City Municipality for the benefit of the Ambo City community this is in contrast to the study by Wurku and Jahan, 2016, which confirmed that project delays are caused by community influence and external influences. I urge the community to provide advice and assistance to the community on the delays and delays in the construction of the projects, to quickly recover the property, to pay appropriate compensation and justice to the projects coming from the community, and to focus on the inflation that is the cause of the economic challenges, to encourage domestic resources and to give due attention to foreign investors and foreign exchange
