The Effect Of Supply Chain Management Practices On The Organizational Performance: Evidence From Dangote Cement Factory In Ada’a Berga Woreda Oromia, Ethiopia

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of supply chain management practices on the Organizational performance of Dangote Cement Factory in Ada’a Berga. In order to meet the objectives of this research, the study adopted quantitative as well as qualitative method and the relationships proposed in the framework were tested using descriptive and explanatory research designs. The primary data was collected from 113 employees of Dangote Cement Factory in Ada’a Berga by using Likert scale type questionnaires as measuring instrument for collection of the employees’ perception towards the variables, then the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The study result of the study indicates that supply chain management practice has statistically significant effect on the organizational performance of Dangote Cement Factory in Ada’a Berga. The practice of strategic supplier partnership, & material flow management needs improvement .Especially from the two variables strategic supplier partnership more need the great improvement as understanding from the result of regression analysis the result of this is negative and insignificant with Organizational performance of Dangote Cement Factory. To sustain in the organization performance develops multi-skill working capacity, on internal systems automation, framework agreement, create collaboration with business partners and relocate the resource in proper manner
