The business environment is one of the largest job creators in developed and developing
countries and is highly competitive in the world. The high number of business projects suggests
the existence of underlying effective leadership management which have not been identified. This
study aimed to suggest for MSE‟s leadership on the gap of practicing expected roles to manage
change towards a positive outcomes.in Shager city, specifically on Melka Nono sub city.
Relevant literature has been reviewed to identify the leaders‟ crucial role practices needed to
manage organizational change process towards of ensuring the success. Accordingly, six
effective change management were identified these are visionary communication, organizational
capacity, employees empowerment, teams’ reinforcement, leadership truthfulness, and
motivational scheming. The data collection about the role of leadership in change management
on business projects was conducted by using interview and analyzed by using qualitative
methods. The main sources of the information were mangers, directorates, and employees in the
business organization projects of Shager city, Malka Nono sub city. Respondents were
purposively selected interviewed. The result has shown that the most important effective change
management in the business environment in Shager city, Malka Nono sub city are visionary
communication, motivational scheming, and leadership truthfulness. Considering the obtained
results of this research, in order to effective management in the business environment the
organization of the business project should have an experienced leader and effective decision
maker project manager. The leadership should ensure adequate sharing vision and motivational
scheming made before projects are started. |
