dc.description.abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Circuit training on selected skill related variables in the case of Ambo Town u-17 female trainee. An experimental research design and a quantitative research methodology were used in this study. To achieve the purpose of the present study 25 female football players in Ambo town project were selected using thorough comprehensive sampling techniques when they were U-17 years old. Training program was for 8 weeks 3 days per week 60 minute duration per day. The data collected from the study subjects were analyzed by using SPSS version 26 software. The data per training to fitness variables were analyzed by paired sample t tests to determine the difference between pre and post mean of participants. The result shows after two months of Circuit training significant mean differences were found in 30m sprint speed test (MD=.60sec,p<0.000), agility T-test (MD=0.74sec, p<0.000) and Vertical jump test (MD=-6.28cm, p<0.000). According to the study's findings, the intervention group's fitness levels in all of the selected skill-related physical fitness components significantly improved. Based on this finding, it can be concluded that circuit training has a positive effect on selected skill related fitness variables of the players. Eight weeks circuit training had a significant effect on speed, agility and power of female U-17 football players at Ambo town project. en_US
