Abstract

This study investigatese The role of micro finance in battering the living standard of borrower customers the case of ambo town residents. The study employs both descriptive and explanatory research designs to analyze how factors like training services, savings services, loan services, and insurance services impact residents' income. A total of 381 respondents were selected using simple random sampling techniques, and data were collected through structured questionnaires. Both descriptive and multiple regression analyses were conducted using SPSS Version 25 software. The findings reveal statistically significant relationships between these factors and residents' income. Specifically, savings services, training, insurance services, and loan services were found to be statistically significant at a 5% significance level. These results suggest that to improve the income of residents, savings, loan services, training, and insurance services should be enhanced in the town. Implementing these recommendations in Ambo town and beyond can foster an environment conducive to income generation, enhance economic sustainability, and improve the residents' standard of living
