dc.description.abstract The study was intended to assess the effect of employee commitment on Organizational Performance in the Case of Oromia Police Colleg”. Both descriptive and explanatory research designs were employed using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire with Likert-type scales. The analysis of the data encompassed a thorough exploration through both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. Descriptive statistics including measures such as frequency, mean, and standard deviation, were employed to provide a clear summary of the dataset, offering insights into the central tendency and variability of the variables under study. Additionally, inferential statistics, namely Pearson correlation and regression analysis, were utilized to delve deeper into the relationships between variables and ascertain the predictive power of certain factors on organizational performance. The use of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS V. 27) facilitated a systematic and efficient analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the interpretation of results. Out of 506 employees, the questionnaire was distributed to 224 respondents though only 212 filled it. The result shows that the correlation all of the coefficients have a positive and strong relationship which implies contributions of the three commitments namely affective, continuance & normative in performance of Oromia Police College. In conclusion, the analysis revealed intuitive findings regarding the factors influencing organizational performance. The Research Directorate of the Oromia Police College should implement a holistic approach to decision-making and management practices. This will allow for a comprehensive assessment of employee relationships and their impact on organizational performance, leading to improved stability and effectiveness within the institution en_US
