dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting employee turnover and its negative impacts on the private organization employees` social security administration (POESSA) at the central region. The study research questions were: to identify factors affecting employee turnover; to what extent these factors affecting employees to leave; and to assess the negative impacts it brings on the performance of the POESSA central region to suggest recommendations as possible solution for the existing employee turnover problem. The researcher adopted descriptive research design which applied mixed (both qualitative and quantitative) research approaches. The total population of the study were consists of all currently working employees of private Organization employees social security administration central region. 133 samples of employees were selected for questionnaire and 3 participants were selected purposive from human resource department for interviews. To select participants for questionnaire, simple random sampling with lottery method was employed and purposive sampling method was used to select participants for the interview purpose. Under this study, instruments of data collection such as interview and questionnaire were used to collect data from respondents. Descriptive statistics such as table, graph, charts, frequency count and percentage were employed to analyze the questionnaire data. The data obtained from interview and document review was analyzed qualitatively by statement and finally triangulation was made. The finding of the study highlighted that dissatisfaction with equal treatment of employees, mismanagement, lack of well- organized training, lack of promotion, salary structure; poor employee management process and lack of rewards based on employees` performance are the major factors of employee resignation from the organization. The study finding also highlighted the following impacts due to high employee turnover. The organization lost many skilled and experienced employees`. The work over loaded on the existed employees and the organization cost both on financially and non-financially for announcement, recruitment, selection, orienting and training of employees are some of the negative impacts of employee turnover. Some necessary recommendations were made to POESSA manager for addressing the factors affecting employee turnover of the organization. The POESSA central region manager should treat equally all employees on their works. The manager should assesses the personnel documents and works with human resource managements to improve the process of employees management. The management should ensure the salary of the organization and try to make similar payment system of the organization. The manager should inject some benefits for employees achieving high performance. Finally, the study was concluded with providing direction for future study. en_US
