Management information systems play a critical role in determining an organization's global performance. Management information systems practice by Managerial performance and it is currently used by the Federal House Corporation. Management information systems are used when the project performance processed. There for the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of implementation of the Management information systems on project performance in Federal House Corporation. It examines how project performance are related to Management information systems from the systems, information quality and user perspectives using survey data collected from select Managerial engaged in Corporation. Structure questionnaire was administrated to collect the data required for analysis from 150 randomly selected respondents working in Corporation. Using simple random sample and purposive sampling procedures, the sample element were chosen based on their relevance for using Management information systems in relation to project performance. A descriptive research approach was used to satisfy the general and specific objectives of this study. Documents were also examined in order to triangulation the qualitative result. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data collected. Results revealed that Pearson correlation among Management information systems are moderate to high, correlation among project performance elements are also moderate to high, and correlation between Management information systems and project performance are also high to very high. Regression analysis results also showed that all the five equipment and devices, skilled manpower, network and software, information communication technology procedure, and information communication technology Directorate Practices of Management information systems variables have strong effect on project performance. The Main findings show that management information systems are currently accessible and that practices in Federal House Corporation have improved in some areas. In Federal House Corporation, the availability and use of Management information systems has moderately improved managers' performance. As a result, the Federal Houses Corporation must pay special attention to the gaps identified in the primary results and make available appropriate Management information systems Practices to assist managers in making effective performance |
