The study is designed to examine “Effects of Organizational Culture on Employees’
Performance: The Case of Ambo Woreda Administration Office. The researcher used descriptive
and explanatory research design. Descriptive research design is used to describe Effects of
Organizational Culture on Employees’ Performance by using tables, pie-charts and graphs. The
researcher also used Explanatory research design to examine Effects of Organizational Culture
on Employees’ Performance: The Case of Ambo Woreda Administration Office by using Multiple
Linear Regression model. The target population of the study was permanent employees of Ambo
Woreda Administration Office with the sample size of 83 employees out of which 78 valid. The
method of data gathering that researcher used was primary sources (questionnaire for
employees, interview for managers) and secondary sources such as written materials which were
published and unpublished as well as the reports of Ambo Woreda Administration Office. The
finding of the research shows that there is positive relationship among Organizational Culture
on Employees’ Performance. The mean value results and Standard deviation results show that
organizational involvement and adoptability of Ambo Woreda Administration office have large
effect on Employees’ Performance while consistency and vision and mission of Ambo Woreda
Administration office have moderate effect on Employees’ Performance. From this we can
conclude that there is significant relationship between organizational culture and employees’
performance in case of Ambo Woreda Administration office. Adjusted R-square indicates that
percentage of variance in the dependent variable or outcome variable explained by the
independent variables or predictor variables. In this case, 84.9% of the variance in employees’
Performance can be explained by work culture in case of Ambo Woreda Administration office. |
