Abstract:
The study of interplay of superconductivity and ferromagnetism in 𝐸𝑟𝑅ℎ4𝐵4was investigated theoretically. A BCS type model Hamiltonian which represents the competing energies in the system was developed. This model Hamiltonian was solved employing the equation of motion approach of the retarded Green’s function formalism. From the Green’s functions of the Hamiltonian, mathematical expressions which relate superconducting transition temperature (Tc) and magnetic order parameter (η), magnetic order transition temperature (Tm) magnetic order parameter (η), superconducting order parameter (ΔSC) and temperature (T) were obtained theoretically. These theoretical relations were plotted and the obtained results were analyzed and discussed. The obtained results indicate the suppression of superconducting critical temperature with increasing concentration of the dopant magnetic impurity. The interplay of superconductivity and ferromagnetism in ErRh4B4 has been a subject of significant interest due to its potential applications in spintronics and quantum computing. This compound exhibits both superconducting and ferromagnetic properties, making it a unique system for studying the coexistence and interaction of these two phenomena. A possible coexistence of superconducting and magnetic ordering was also observed for with ferromagnetism continue only until the ferromagnetic effect is not sufficiently large, small regions of the impurity concentration. However, superconductivity appears together. Overall, the interplay of superconductivity and ferromagnetism in ErRh4B4 provides valuable insights into the complex interactions between different quantum states in condensed matter systems. Understanding the nature of these interactions could potentially lead to the development of new materials with enhanced functionalities for future technological applications.
