dc.description.abstract Background: Client satisfaction is essential for further improvement of quality of antenatal care services and to provide uniform health care laboratory services for pregnant women. Lack of sufficient evidence specifically on satisfaction level of pregnant women on Antenatal care laboratory services in Ethiopia, particularly there was no information in the study area. Objective: - The aim of this study is to assess satisfaction level on Laboratory services and its associated factor among pregnant women attending antenatal care clinics at Public Hospitals in North Shewa Zone, Oromia, Ethiopia, 2024. Methods:-A facility based cross-sectional study design was conducted among 415 pregnant women attending antenatal care who were selected using systematic random sampling procedures at Public Hospital in North Shewa Zone from January 25 to February 25,2024. Data were collected by using a pre-tested structured questionnaire. The collected data were coded ,cleaned and entered into Epidata 3.1 then exported to SPSS Version 24 for analysis. Descriptive statistics were computed to see the frequency distribution and percentage. Bivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to see the association between each independent variable and the outcome variable. The Variables with the p-value of ≤ 0.25 in bivariable analyses were entered into the multivariable regression analysis by fitting the model. Odds ratio along with 95% confidence interval (CI) were estimated to measure the strength of the association. Finally, a p-value of ≤ 0.05 was used to declare the level of statistical significance. Result: The overall satisfaction level of pregnant women on laboratory services was 243(59% (95% CI:( 54.6- 64.4)). Having Current number ANC follow up status, [AOR=3.554,95% CI:(1.541-8.192)], average monthly income [AOR=3.134, 95% CI:((1.299-7.562)], unvailability of all ordered ANC laboratory tests[AOR =0.836, 95% CI: (0.173-0.861)] ,Complication not faced on current pregnancy [AOR= 2.95,95% CI:(1.225-7.111)], unwillingness of pregnant women to get service in the facility and recommend others [AOR= 0.33, 95% CI(0.188-0.588)] were identified to be significantly associated with pregnant women satisfaction on antenatal care laboratory services. Conclusion: The satisfaction level of pregnant women on laboratory service was low. Current number ANC follow up status, low average monthly income, unavailability of all ordered ANC laboratory tests, Complication faced on current pregnancy, unwillingness of pregnant women to get service in the facility and recommend others to get service were identified to be significantly associated with pregnant women‟ satisfaction on antenatal care laboratory services. Health facilities should pay attention on availing of laboratory supplies and reagents as well as gender office should support for low income pregnant women. en_US
