Abstract:
The main purpose of this study was to investigate effects combined strength and plyometric exercise training selected skill related physical fitness variables of youth male soccer trainees: in case of ginchi town soccer project. To achieve the objective of the quasi experimental research design was employed. The total population of the study was 25 male youth soccer trainees. All subjects were taken as sample using compressive sampling technique. The data were collected through pre and posttest of exercise on dependent variable of all subjects of the study. Then the collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. A paired sample t-test was used to analyze the mean, standard deviation, and significance difference between pre-posttest results of the study’s subjects. The significant level was set at p<0.05. As the result of the study combined strength and plyometric training has significant effect on power in high jump test (MD=-17.48), (P-value 0.00), agility in illions agility test,(MD=1.12), (p-value 0.00) and speed in thirty minute run test (MD=0.37), (p-value=0.00). So the finding of this study is revealed that combined strength and plyometric training had statistically significant effect on selected skill related physical fitness variables of youth male soccer trainees in case of ginchi town soccer project. Therefore researcher recommends as the athletes and coaches incorporate combined strength and plyometric in to their regular training program to improve power, agility, and speed
