Abstract:
This study was conducted at some selected of Oromia Bank, branches under West Finfine 
District on the issues of Factors affecting employees Turnover intention within the purposes 
of  evaluating  the effect of intrinsic and extrinsic factors  on employees turnover intention 
and to  inspect the organizations strategy to prevent employees turnover. Both descriptive 
and explanatory research design and quantitative and qualitative also employed rather than 
using a single one. The target population of this study were the selected bank branches 
managers, senior officers, senior supervisors and coordinators. Additionally, their sample 
sizes determined by simple random sampling technics.  The primary and secondary data 
were collected through interviews and questionnaires. Finally, the collected data were 
analyzed by statistical package for social science version 26 and presented in mean and 
standard deviation. According to the descriptive data analysis result indicated that majority 
of the intrinsic and extrinsic factors affecting employee’s turnover in the study area.   The 
regression results shows that recognition, achievement and work conditions are positively 
affecting Turnover intention and statistically insignificant. Growth, compensations, co
worker, policies and job status negatively affecting Turnover intention and statistically 
significant.  The researcher recommended that all of the selected bank management team and 
Board of directors should design the strategies in order to decreasing the bank employee’s 
turnover intention through conducting the necessary researches
