dc.description.abstract This study explores the determinants of conflict between employees and employers and their impact on productivity in Habesha Cement Share Company. Effective conflict management is crucial for fostering a productive and harmonious relationship between employees and their company, ultimately influencing overall productivity. The primary objective of this research paper is to elucidate the factors that contribute to conflict and its subsequent effects on the productivity of Habesha Cement Share Company. By identifying and understanding these factors, the study aims to provide valuable insights that can inform strategies for improving conflict management processes and enhancing productivity within the organizational context. The study investigated the nature of conflict between department, community, employees and organization. This research approach applied for this study was a qualitative approach in nature Explanatory research design in qualitative research aims to explore and explain the relationships between variables or phenomena. Unlike descriptive research that focuses on providing a detailed account of a situation, explanatory research seeks to uncover the underlying reasons or mechanisms behind observed patterns. A self-administered questionnaire was used for data collection from the employees of selected Habesha cement Share Company using convenient sampling techniques. From the total population 652 selected as random sampling select 75 samples as purposive sampling method questionnaires distributed, 71 were collected and used for further analysis. Correlation analysis and multiple linear regressions were used to analyze the gathered data. Most of the results are statistically significant. The findings of the study indicate that conflict management surpasses the anticipated value, and the identified causes of this conflict encompass departmental, individual, organizational, and community factors. This implies a substantial impact on productivity, either enhancing or diminishing performance. en_US
