Abstract:
Regarding equipping human capital of an organization, training plays a crucial role. The method of training delivery has becoming main issue for employers in terms of saving money and time, enhancement of knowledge of employees and improvement of e-learning effectiveness. This research examined the effect of challenges and prospects of online training implementation on e-learning effectiveness in commercial bank of Ethiopia North Addis District. To achieve the objective of the research explanatory research design was employed to know the casual linkage and effect of independent variables of the dependent one. Data were collected using both questionnaires and interview. Questionnaires were distributed to 208 samples whom were selected using systematic simple random sampling method. The collected data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis method. The result of the conducted study showed there is e-learning effectiveness as a result of online training implementation components such as Management support, Computer Self-efficacy and Employee’s Readiness. The finding showed computer self-efficacy and job position of the employees have a positive significance on the dependent variable e-learning effectiveness
