Abstract:
In this thesis, definitions, theorems, properties and examples of different types of pure
projective modules are discussed. Also we studied the properties of pure projective modules
and show when all pure-projective modules are direct sums of finitely presented modules
(or, equivalently, of finitely generated modules, for finitely generated pure-protectives are
finitely presented). We show the solution in the case of hereditary noetherian rings and
uniseial rings.
