dc.description.abstract Eco-tourism investment is very important to enhance the growth and development of the house hold livelihood. While there is evidence that ecotourism’s espoused benefits can be realized, there are equally as many, cases where ecotourism has fallen short of its proposed objectives, is to alleviate poverty. With the hope to provide insight on mechanisms to sustainably develop this ecotourism investment three objectives have been considered. these are , income of house hold livelihood, stake holder collaboration, and environmental education in the effects of ecotourism investment on the house hold livelihood. The study adapted descriptive research design. The target population was sought from both lakes living around Wenchi Dendi Crater Lake, Which was sampled through cluster sampling, in a sample size of 183 respondents. Both primary and secondary sources of data were utilized. The questionnaire and interview schedule guides covered items on the effects of ecotourism investment. Finally, the data was organized, tabulated and analyzed using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS). Presentation of research findings was in the form of descriptive statistics such as percentages, frequencies and in the form of tables. The major findings of the research became about 59% of the population living around Dendi Crater Lake cannot be benefited from Crater lake. But about 60% of the respondents are satisfied by the construction of this investment project. And this investment project is crucial for the house hold livelihood. To be more profitable and economize the investment should be invested by deferent stake holders or enablers. This helps to invest more hotel lodges sport activities and deferent recreational sites, which boost the economy of the house hold livelihood. In general deferent institution government, stake holders and communities should have to participate and invest there. This investment project is very important after the completion the construction not only this but also there are deferent potential attraction areas which benefits the local people. en_US
