dc.description.abstract The main purpose of this thesis is to find the solution of (2 + 1)− dimensional nonlinear Schr¨odinger equations. The Exp-function method is applied to find a solution of (2 + 1)−dimensional nonlinear system of SE. It is shown that the method provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics. The obtained solution for each results were illustrated by graphical plots. The obtained results are exactly fit with exact solutions which solves the complexity of finding the solutions for (2+ 1)−dimensional NLS en_US
