Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of coach effectiveness on players’ perceptions of team motivational climate among football super league clubs in Burayu, Gelan, Laga xafo Laga dadi and Sendafa Bake football club. The overall study of this research reveals the influence of coach effectiveness on players’ perceptions of team motivational climate and in mastery oriented team motivational climate most of the players were agreed and the coach’s attitude to try player’s mastery orientations team motivational climate was encouraged. This indicates that the players are motivated in mastery oriented motivational climate like effort/improvement, important role, and cooperative learning mastery. In performance orientation motivational climate the majority players were agreed and the coach praising players can out play their contribution performance climate. This indicates that the players are also motivated in performance oriented motivational climate. Generally a player agrees on punishment for mistake and intra-class rivalry performance orientation team motivational climate but strongly agree on unequal recognition performance. Coaching effectiveness in response to player’s successes was accepted in the hand of players. This indicates that players’ feel better on coaching responses to their successes of team motivational climate. Coaching effectiveness in response to player’s errors was agreed. This indicate that player feel agree on coaching responses to their errors of team motivational climate.
