The purpose of this study was to examine the Effects’ of selected Aerobic exercises on
youth male soccer players’ cardiovascular Endurance development in Ambo Goal
FIFA Football Academy. To achieve the objective of the present study, experimental
research design was employed. The total subject for the study were thirty three (n =33)
youth male Soccer players of Ambo Goal FIFA Football Academy. The study
populations were little; all were taken as a sample by using comprehensive sampling
technique and their Age lies between 16 to 17years. The participants of this study were
classified into two groups by simple random sampling lottery system; an Experimental
group (EG, N=16) and a Control group (CG, N=17). The results showed that Aerobic
exercise intervention was significantly developed cardiovascular endurance. After eight
week, three (3) days per week and 60 minutes per daily training session of selected
Aerobic Exercises (shuttle run, Small Sided Game, slow long running, step- up and
jumping rope) for Experimental Group multi-stage shuttle run fitness test/Beep test
were (MD=-1.36875), Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test Level (one) 1(Vo2max) were
(MD=-2.22687) and 3minute step test (Heart rate) were (MD=8.25000). Based on the
result, it can be concluded that eight-week Aerobic exercise has a positive effect on
Cardiovascular Endurance of Soccer players (significant change) was observed. |
