dc.description.abstract Human resource management is a method for properly managing people for maximum performance. The ability of employees to deliver consistent service to residents is used to evaluate their performance. The Gulele Sub-City Woreda 10 public service is in charge of providing services to both woreda inhabitants and consumers from outside the woreda. However, the public has expressed displeasure with service delivery mechanisms in recent years. The main goal of this study was to see how HRM methods affected employee performance in the Gullele sub city woreda 10 public service. As factors of employee performance, four HRM activities were used: recruitment and selection, performance appraisal, training, and compensation. A descriptive and explanatory design, as well as a mixed research approach, was used in this study. Data was acquired from 203 of the 412 total employees of the woreda public service using a questionnaire and an interview. For data analysis, the researcher used stratified sampling and multiple regressions. According to the results of the study, there is a substantial positive association between four human resource management practice and employee performance. In the instance of the gullele sub city woreda's ten public service, the study found that there are numerous issues with human resource management practices. Finally, the researcher made recommendations for the administration of the gullele sub city woreda 10 to change its human resource management approaches in a reasonable manner en_US
