Abstract:
This research was conducted to find out the effect of Selected
Physical Exercises on (Muscular Strength,speed and Agility) on U 18 Female Short Distance Atletics Trainees of Burayu
Town.Informal expermental design were used.Pre and post test with
out control group.From population of 100 trainees 30 trainees were
selected as study subjects by using simple random sampling
techniques.They participated in low, moderate and high intensity of
selected physical exercise for 12 consecutive weeks , frequency of 3
days per week 40-- 60 minute duration per session.The selected
physical fitness variables are muscular strength,Aspeed and Agility.
The data collected from the study subjects were analyzed using SPSS
version 24 software. The data pertaining to those selected physical
fitness variables were analyzed by Paired sample ‘t’ test to
determine the significant differences between initial and final mean
for study subjects. According to analyzed data in push up 8.6 ,30 m
dash 0.3 and in Illinois test 2.18 mean deffernce were observed
after putting the subjects for 12 weeks on selected physical
exercises.The result indicates that there were significant
improvement.From this finding , it can be concluded that low
,moderate and high intensity physical exercise have positive effects
on enhancement of muscular strength Speed and Agility of U-18
female short distance Athletics Trainees of Burayu
Town.Therefor,selected physical exercise are recommended to U-18
female short distance Athletics trainees of Burayu town for
improving their muscular Strength,Speed and agility performances.
