Abstract:
The aim of this study was to assess, to identify and evaluate the determinants that affects the
performance of female football players the case of ambo football goal FIFA academy and
Ethiopia youth sport academy and it attempted to suggest possible solutions. The research
design adopts for this study was a cross-sectional research design. The researcher used the
players, coaches and technical directors as target group. The study was carried out in academies
players participating in 2011 for Ethiopia youth sport academy and2013 for Ambo football goal
FIFA academy year training program. The researcher used 47 trainees and 3 coaches and 2
technical directors total of 52 respondents those were selected by using simple random sampling
technique. The questionnaire and interview was used as data collection instrument. Percentage,
frequency, means and standard Deviation was also formulated depending on the nature of the
data collected and firsthand information from the respondents was applied. Pilot test was
conducted to measure instruments validity and reliability and data were analyzed by SPSS 23
versions. The finding of the study revealed that, determinants that affects the performance of
female football players the case of ambo football goal FIFA academy and Ethiopia youth sport
academy. Depending on the finding of the study valuable recommendation were made for the
stake holders and concerned bodies in order to work on solving those factors occurred
